But if it does come down to Castlewood and GC, the game could hinge on Fisher's injury.. If he's not 100%, GC may come away with it.
agreed about the "Hood" (Rye Cove) Eagles will defeat the GC blue ones
IMO Castlewood is #1 in the state for a reason. Loaded! And with them 1 player, while a vital part, isn't the team. Ask Twin Springs.

Alot of people overlooks the rest of RC's team. Adam is a great ball player, but RC's other step up, and play their roles well. For example, last night Michael Thacker stepped up and scored 6-8 points in the first half on some nice turn around shots in the low post. Franklin is tough, and Shupe, and Million can shoot from outside. Hensley is smart with the ball. Plus, RC plays excellent D, and that is their strong point. I think the GC/RC game should be a good one.

Last time I can remember was when I was in the 8th grade. Horton was on JV at the time, and I got swatted a few times. So, I guess that was 94-95 season. I think Chad Carter and maybe Shannon still played, and of course Shoemaker, and Haynes, and etc on varsity then. Needless to say we got our butts handed to us on both JV and varsity.
This is also RC's first regional appearance since 93 if I am not mistaken.

gate city has a very good shot to win the region. in fact, burton has a legit shot as well.
